Each year a large number of people volunteer to help put the club together, whether behind the scenes in the run up to the club, during the club itself or indeed both! Quite simply it wouldn’t happen without them so a huge thank you to those that have volunteered in the past and to those who will be volunteering this year.

Volunteering is many things; it is simple - everyone has a skill we could use, whether it be making tea, helping children with crafts, leading a small group or being part of the drama team to name just a few - it is also hard work but rewarding!

To be a volunteer you need to regularly attend church or at least be sympathetic with the clubs aim - bringing children to a greater knowledge of Jesus.

While it is great if you could commit to helping out for the whole week you don’t have to, many people just help out for a few days as their work allows. Childcare shouldn’t be a barrier to helping - any children in P1-S1 can be part of the club and we operate a creche specifically for helpers children who are not yet at school.

If you have any questions about volunteering at holiday club please speak to one of the core steering group - they will be happy to help.
