S2 Runners

For those of you in S2 there is a special youth helper role for you to fill - you'll be a runner. This role involves getting the right things and people in the right place at the right time - no mean feat at holiday club! There's scenery, the registration cards, the refreshments, quiz sheets, people, crafts, games equipment and messages to sort. Just register as a volunteer and someone will be in contact with more details.

S6 Youth Leaders

For those of you in S6 there is the opportunity to become youth leaders. You could become group leaders or get more involved with the drama/music/crafts/
projection team. It will be a chance for those that want to, to learn from our adult volunteers and even show them how it can be done! If you are interested register as a volunteer and tick the youth leader box. Someone will then be in contact with more details.

S3-S6 Youth Helpers

For those of you in S3-S6 there is the opportunity to give something back by being a youth helper. You could be with a small group assisting the adult leader, or you could be part of the projection, drama or craft team if you would prefer. You will be in for a very busy but rewarding week. Just register as a volunteer saying what your preferred role would be and someone will be in contact with more details.

Runners, Youth Helpers & Youth Leaders

While we at holiday club really rely on having a great team of young people volunteering, taking part is a great way for you to improve your leadership and team work skills, so it looks great on your UCAS application.

For those of you doing the DofE award, volunteering at holiday club can be used towards the volunteering section.

It's not all work and no play though - throughout the week there will be opportunities to meet together and have some fun. In the past there have been ceilidhs, picnics and trips to the beach. If you have any ideas as to something you would like to do this year just get in touch with Lorna.
